The 1st Road Safety Round Table.
The First Road Safety Round Table
The Road Safety-Round Table Discussion (RS-RTD) is a policy forum series for various stakeholders in road safety. The first RS-RTD Series was focused on general road safety for new and existing advocates and an introduction to child car seats.
The team invited non-government, civil society, and grassroots organizations and around 55 attended the forum. The speakers for the forum were from the roster of LDP fellows and partners from the Global Road Safety Partnership (GRSP). The latter were the primary movers in advancing the child car seats bill.
Outputs from this forum were a Stakeholder Map of those working in road safety and commitments from them to start and continue their endeavours, and to increase support for the child car seats.
These outputs helped the project management team to track partners' working on specific areas, thus, making them easier to tap for future collaborations at the same the team has gained new partners in advocating for road safety.
